Charissa did a great job with our tattoos. I called her in the afternoon and told her there was a group of 5 people who wanted tattoos and a piercing. She was able to accommodate our request. She was able to draft up each tattoo request and sought our preferences for size and placement, including reprinting several times to meet our expectations. She answered all questions and was extremely patient. Would go back again!

Let me preface this with saying: I did not get a tattoo here. I had an appointment at 5pm. I knocked on the door, and when there was no answer, I texted the number provided to let Charissa know I was there. It was 20 minutes before she came outside and told me to come in and sit, as she was working on another client. Now, I'm understanding if you go overtime. I get it, it's a tattoo, you didn't expect it to take so long. So I sat patiently and watched as Charissa worked on this other woman, doing a black armband with an infinity symbol. It wasn't until about 7:45, nearly two hours after my scheduled appointment time, that she finished up with this other woman. (She was also vaping the entire time.) This woman paid $350 for this tattoo. The blackwork was incredibly uneven and the armband was messed up and crooked, especially around the back of the arm where the client wouldn't be able to see. And she sent her right along her way. I was honestly a little appalled that Charissa was alright charging $350 to mess up this woman's arm 😭 At this point, I was pretty uncomfortable and pretty certain I didn't want to get tattooed by Charissa, but I had already wasted 2 hours and paid the $50 scheduling deposit. She didn't check my ID or anything before she sat me down in the chair and started scribbling on me with a pen, so any teenager who looks vaguely older than 16 could probably walk in and get a tattoo (I look around 16). I had come in for some adjustments to a tattoo I had gotten at a different artist. She started freehanding it without a reference, then insulted my previous work when I pulled one up for her. When she was satisfied with her sketch, she asked me what I thought, and I told her I felt uneasy, got up, and left. Anyway, pretty unprofessional place, and I don't trust her work

I went in for my birthday to get a redo and some added on. I knew I wanted to have work done by her because it’s a private, personal salon space and woman owned. I was in awe when she took my idea and made it come to life better than I expected. I really did also enjoy her company. My first tattoo and it was a great experience. Charissa responded to my request for an appointment, asked me questions upon my arrival and proceeded to design the perfect tattoo to honor my son Jeffrey. Easy conversation set me at ease and made this a very special experience.
