I cannot say enough good things about Emma! I walked in with an extremely irritated and painful nostril piercing and she immediately took me back and swapped the ring out for something that will heal better. She eased my anxiety, answered every question I had, and made the process way easier than I was anticipating. Extremely knowledgeable and so kind. Thanks Emma!!

Got this tattoo done by Don Lee. Extremely impressed. I shared the concept of what I wanted and asked him to change it up with his own artistic flair and to match it to the other vibes of the artwork on my leg and, as always, he never disappoints. He got the vibe and my hopes to the every detail, created beautiful work for me to keep on my body forever, and astounding execution. His table side company is stellar as all heck. He puts his heart and all his talent into all his pieces and it shows true and through. I will genuinely, and with no exaggeration, ever get a tattoo by someone else besides him. He is extremely talented. More than in love with this tattoo and impressed by him as an artist.

Had the absolute privilege of getting my first ever tattoo done by the insanely talented Caroline @mantaray.nash. I could not have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate and did a truly beautiful piece of art. The vibes in this shop are immaculate and everyone there was incredibly friendly. I could not recommend this shop enough and would give a 10/5 if google would let me.

Walked in wanting to get a cover up and they took me right away. Nick was amazing! Wanted a custom tat my kid designed and he matched it perfectly. The atmosphere of the shop was top-notch. Very friendly artists. I highly recommend getting work done at Against the Grain Tattoo. You will not regret it. I will most definitely be returning.

i had a vision, messaged Nick, and he had me booked and in shop within 4 days! super prompt, professional, eager, and really took his time on my tattoo. the shop was beautiful, clean, and the atmosphere was so comfortable and really allowed me to relax while i got my piece. i could tell by the art on the walls, the stencil he drew up, and the care he put into the prep and setting up, i was in good hands. i drove an hour and a half to the shop, and truthfully id even drive double that! i cant wait to be back in for another AMAZING piece 🤩
