Amazing service, absolutely excellent experience. Much better than 901 Ink Therapy. Completely outclassed them. The staff was very friendly, very informative, very educated, and very respectful. Truly made me feel like I mattered and was cared about and made sure I was fully prepared for my piercing. Would go to them again for everything. Definitely worth it.

I attempted to go to 2 other artists before meeting Daniel at Skin City Ink. I'm glad that I keep search till I came here. He listened to what I wanted and made it work. The other artists wanted to change my idea. I got a cover up on a quarter of my lower leg. Daniel worked for 5 hours before we stopped, I will go back in 6 weeks to get it completed and both sessions are included in one price !! The other staff were friendly and wonderful to talk to. It was obvious they are very concerned with safety. They offered me snacks when I started getting shaky, and walked me to my car when I was ok to leave. I already did the searching so you don't have to, just go to Skin City Ink !!! Pictures will be uploaded after next session.

My daughter got her nose pierced by Rayne at Skin City Ink on Madison and we couldn't be happier. Rayne is a professional. She talked us through the process, her technique and the aftercare. She made sure my daughter, her father, her big sister and myself were comfortable the entire time. She was engaging, very detailed, her sense of humor was perfectly timed and appropriate. It’s a very chill, clean, well organized professional environment. If you’re looking for a new piercing in Memphis, definitely go see her!" From the moment we arrived, the experience was welcoming and calm. The shop itself is very unassuming but easy to find, and we were greeted at the door with genuine warmth—the shop manager was actually outside and opened the door for us with a smile and a welcome. That small gesture set the tone for the entire visit. The front desk staff was kind and efficient and led us to the back to wait for our consult. Our consult was quick and easy since we already knew what we wanted. When we realized my daughter was too young for a tattoo, the staff explained the law with kindness and empathy. They didn’t rush us out or act inconvenienced at all—instead, they encouraged us to come back for her birthday, which meant a lot in that moment. My daughter pivoted to a piercing, and the young lady who helped us even gave me inspiration for an alternate tattoo. Daniel was my tattoo artist, and he was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly patient while I was supporting my daughter during her piercing and equally patient with my vague inspiration, questions, and edits. I gave him a preschool-level design idea 🤣 and he met me with true artist energy—helping refine the concept, discussing placement, future artwork, and even perspective (is this tattoo for me to see, or the world?). We talked easily the entire time, and he also took time to answer my daughter’s questions about tattoos. The conversation felt natural—like sitting with an old friend—and before I knew it, he was done. He works quickly without sacrificing quality, and the final result exceeded my expectations. The highlight shading he added at the end—chef’s kiss! I’m so glad we chose this shop and so grateful for Daniel’s artistry and patience. I’ll absolutely be back.
