I’ve been going to Betty for three years and she is truly the best. She did my first tattoo and has done every one since. I keep coming back because she creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and I genuinely look forward to every appointment.

I got a tattoo done by Betty and she was great! The place was super comfy-cozy compared to the hardcore vibe of most tattoo shops. It was very clean and all the artists were very kind and professional. It was my first one but Betty offered to have my favorite music playing and she was very gentle. Overall great experience and I plan on going back in the future.

I was looking for a place to get my first tattoo, and Louisa was recommended to me multiple people as the best in the biz. My experience was incredible. From the initial meeting where we discussed my vision for my first tattoo, Louisa made me feel comfortable, welcome, and confident in her ability to bring my tattoo to life. She guided me through every step of the process with patience and professionalism. She made suggestions that I didn't even consider, taking my concept to the next level. The shop was incredibly clean, warm and inviting. Everyone I met there was super kind, and the work itself is more beautiful than I could have imagined. She also walked me through the healing process, and the tattoo healed perfectly. I cannot wait to continue working on the piece with Louisa, and I would highly recommend her and the shop to anyone looking for a positive, lovely experience.

I can't rave enough about Bluebird Ink and Betty Pain. My girlfriends were in town for Louder than Life music festival and wanted to get a matching tattoo together. We contacted Betty several months in advance to set up our appointment. The process to set up the appointment was very easy and she contacted us with a mock up of the design a couple of days prior to our appointment. She was very accommodating with our travel plans and flight schedules. When we arrived to the shop it was a beautifully curated space with lots of natural light, artwork and smelled amazing. It felt like being in a high end spa! I couldn't be more pleased with my tattoo. Betty had a very light hand and her attention to detail was incredible!

I’m so very excited with my tattoo. Louisa is a magnificent tattoo artist!!! I cannot wait for my next appointment to continue working on my memorial piece! Highly recommended! She has been worth the wait!!!
