This is definitely the best tattoo shop in La grange hands down! The owners are amazing people and work really hard to make sure they give their customers the best experience! The work is also amazing! Definitely the place to get your ink!

I came in for a touch-up, and they were able to fit me in right away. Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Brittany did an amazing job, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for quality work. The atmosphere is friendly, comfortable, and inviting—and you even get greeted by some very sweet furry friends! I will definitely be coming back for more work in the future. Wanted to get my tattoo here very badly and support a small business. I made a consultation appointment, then waited like 2 weeks to schedule my actual tattoo appointment because I was not completely sure about what specifically I wanted tattooed on my arm. I called them back to make another consultation and the manager was on the phone and was extremely rude and would not let me get any words out. Kept cutting me off while I was trying to explain my situation. After the rude and inconsiderate interaction, I decided that I wasn’t going to work with them anymore even though I gave them $50 for the consultation, so, to end the conversation, I asked if I could potentially call the next day (I wasn’t going to, just didn’t want to be rude), and she was very amused, laughing at me and hung up quickly. Not a way to treat customers, especially when they are putting a giant tattoo on your arm that will stay with you for the rest of your life. The entire point of a tattoo artist’s job is to put the vision to life and create the art. I’m not copy and pasting a pinterest drawing on myself, I need the artist to be the artist. This is a decision that sticks with you for the rest of your life, and the fact that I am being rushed and being accused of “wasting peoples time” is ridiculous. It is YOUR job to make the art that’s going on my body forever…. I will use as much time as I need to tweak and make something that I believe is worth being on my body for the rest of my life. The artists job is to figure out placement, shading, shapes, sizes… EVERYTHING. How are you going to say I am wasting peoples time when I maybe need more than 45 minutes to figure all of that out? I understand being frustrated or annoyed if I had already scheduled more than 1 consultation, but not even giving me one other chance to perfect my potential tattoo after going home, sitting with it, and being thoughtful about it, is wild. I don’t trust or mess around with people/businesses that lack patience and kindness when it comes to lifelong commitments. And mind you, I spoke with the manager, not an employee or other artist. How are you a manager and talking to customers like that??

I absolutely love this place. Everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Mackenzie. She has done every single one of my tattoos and theres not a single one I have ever regretted or not gotten compliments on multiple times a day. She is really good at making the atmosphere more relaxing and the quality of her work is outstanding. I can’t say enough good things! 10/10 recommend this shop and especially Mackenzie Dennison.

I've been getting tattooed by Scot for more than 20 years, and consider him and his wife to be good friends. I've never met anyone more dedicated to serving quality work to the community. I have also been tattooed by Tia, and I am looking forward to getting more! Personally, I wouldn't go anywhere else!
