Classic 13 Tattoo

Jory did 3 of my piercings a week ago today. I got a flat, daith and vertical labre. The vertical labre is fine. But the other two were not. I didn’t really experience any swelling until 4 days after I got the piercings. The day after that, I was in excruciating pain and couldn’t focus while I was at work. The next day I had to go elsewhere and get the piercings taken out and see if they were savable. He used too small of a bar for my flat and used too small of a hoop for my daith. Not to mention the fact that he also didn’t use any lube to help the jewelry ease in better and also wasn’t gentle when putting the jewelry in after getting the piercings.

Collin did an amazing job on two of my tattoos in one day! Efficient timing and flawless execution; the designs were killer! The shop is super clean, and the lady working reception is a doll! Great atmosphere!

Wanted to get my 14 year old daughter’s earlobe pierced. Not a nose, belly button or cartilage, an earlobe! They would not do it because she didn’t have a government issued ID. I had her original birth certificate, original school ID and my unexpired ID. They said the state of Alabama required she have a government issued ID. Meanwhile, Cloud 9 Tattoo shop down the street said the documents I had are acceptable. Cloud 9 couldn’t pierce my daughter’s earlobe because they didn’t have any availability. Not blaming Classic 13 (hence the 3 rating) because they apparently have their own policies, but I suggest they get consistent with their peers, especially just for an earlobe! I ended up going to Savage Patch and getting it pierced! Edited to respond to owner… Not inconvenienced and no need to apologize. I just suggest being consistent with peers, especially for an earlobe. I’ve used you all before so you were my first choice. I took my business elsewhere, to one of your competitors. Having a state issued ID from a minor, when you have original birth certificate, school ID and parent ID, has nothing to do with safety. Best of luck in your business.

I am new to the tattoo world and wanted to get one while I was in town for work. I got my tattoo done with Chip and oh my gosh what an amazing artist, person and experience! I went in with an idea of what I wanted and picture but Chip gave me some advice about the design, etc., and actually took the time to draw something up for me that represented my family as a whole, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. But my favorite part was the process, our conversations, the stories we talked about our lives and experiences we had and he even shared with me music he created. It was just an amazing experience I had and felt like I was with a friend. What an amazing person and tattoo artist, I haven’t laughed like that in a while!!! Thank you so so much Chip!!! I couldn’t recommend him enough - Blessed!

Did walk in for piercing for my son👃 and 👂 for me. The lady at the counter was efficient and friendly. Assisted as quickly as possible. When i mentioned i had a question about a tattoo she expeditiously went and found a tattoo artist to speak with me. I do not remember his name but he spoke honestly and professionally with me about my questions. He then declined to do the tattoo due to place and color choice i had asked for which would have been money thrown away. He also said he would if i wanted to but could not recommend it. I admire the business attitude of honesty and dignity for not just having said yes and taken my money for the heck of it. We had a little wait which I completely expect being a walk in. The waiting area I might add was spacious area with appropriate distancing and masks while we waited. Logan did both our piercings and was Awesome 👌! Answered all questions about piercings, was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He did such a great job neither piercings hurt but for the second they were done. Thanks So Much!! Well worth the 2 and 1/2 hour 🚗 from another state. Will definitely be back for some ink and probably another piercing or 2. 😉
