Smoke Break - vape & smoke shop

Amer was always my favorite employee at Smoke Break, and I honestly wasn't sure anyone could fill his shoes after he left. But Carson and JP have been absolutely outstanding. Every time I come in they're friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to answer questions, make great recommendations when I need them, and make sure I leave taken care of every single time. Their positive attitudes and professionalism have made every visit a great experience. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and patience. The owner Omar seems to have a great eye for excellent employees not to mention great products and selection. It's clear they care about both the customers and the shop. Carson and JP have done an amazing job keeping the high level of service I always appreciated. This place is lucky to have them, and they've definitely earned a loyal customer since my boy Amer left. Thanks so much guys.

I would rate this place a -0. If you go here, be aware—you may be racially profiled. I came in one day and purchased two items (I usually only buy one). At one point, I picked up an item that caught my interest but put it back. Later that day, I received a text message calling me by the wrong name and accusing me of stealing. I was extremely upset because I do not steal. I returned today, and they showed me a video of me picking up an item and putting it back—yet still accused me of stealing. The video clearly shows me putting the item back and that it is no longer in my hand. They then claimed that my actual skin tone was an item in my hand. The item they referenced was black, but somehow they said it turned into something white in my hand. That makes no sense. I even pointed out that it was clearly my hand, but they continued insisting that I had taken something. This experience was frustrating, disrespectful, and unacceptable.

JP and his coworker are professional staff that knows their product and knows the people. I'm a visitor from out of town. But will be back when I can, or recommend to others that stay in the area! 5/5.

Smoke Break is a great shop with a vast selection, but make sure you ask for Amer. Amer is hands-down one of the best parts of the shop. He's acknowledging and welcoming you right when you walk in. He’s friendly and genuinely happy to help. He takes the time to listen, answers questions clearly, and always makes sure you leave with exactly what you need, and the best part is there is no pressure and no rush. I have a limited window I can drop in which is right as the store opens. Thankfully Amer is incredibly reliable and professional; he's always on time and it feels like he was waiting just for you. You can tell he really knows his products and takes pride in being there for his customers. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time customer he treats everyone with the same respect and attention. He's one guy running the shift but manages to be very generous with his time. His positive attitude and consistency make every visit a pleasure. If you stop by do yourself a favor and ask for Amer. You’ll leave confident, taken care of, and looking forward to your next visit.
