I was really nervous to get my first cartilage piercing, but Evan was excellent and made sure I was comfortable the entire time, asking me if I was okay to continue multiple times before proceeding to the next piercing! Great environment, kind staff, excellent piercing quality! I was really happy to see how much effort they put into being sterile and practicing safe piercing methods. They have a decent variety of starter jewelry too.

I had such a great experience getting my nose pierced with River City Tattoo and Piercing while at the Raleigh Convention Center! The piercer Nycole was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was incredibly knowledgeable, took her time to explain every step of the process, and made sure I felt comfortable before beginning. Her attention to detail and professionalism really stood out, and I never felt rushed. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and provided clear aftercare instructions, which gave me confidence that I was in great hands. If you’re considering a piercing, I highly recommend asking for Nycole. She truly cares about her clients and made the entire experience a positive one. I’ll definitely be back for future piercings!

Sophie and Whitney did a wonderful job piercing my 5 month old daughter’s ears today! I did a lot of research and found that River City Tattoo was the premier place for piercing, especially for young children. Not only was it incredibly clean and well organized, but Sophie and Whitney were complete professionals and also so kind to us. It really made me at ease with the process. I would recommend this business and especially our piercers!!

We had a fantastic experience at River City! My youngest wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday but was pretty nervous. I made the mistake of taking my oldest to one of those mall piercing booths years ago, and one of her ears never fully healed, so I was looking for a much better experience this time around. River City was completely different. You can tell this is something they do every day. Brittany and Whitney immediately put my daughter at ease, numbed her earlobes so she was comfortable, and took the time to make sure she felt confident every step of the way. They even pierced both ears at the same time (a total pro move!). They also have a great selection of earrings, especially flat-back styles, which are so much easier to clean and more comfortable to wear. What really put the experience over the top was all the little touches. They sent her home with a certificate and a goodie bag, and she walked out feeling like she was leaving her own birthday party. It made the whole experience so special. Both my daughter and I give River City a 10/10. Huge thanks to Brittany and Whitney for making her birthday ear-piercing experience such a positive and memorable one!

WOW. The professionalism and integrity this shop showed us today blew my mind. I scheduled an appointment for new children’s ear piercings here, after very thorough research. They are so detailed in their explanations of every step, from picking jewelry, the process, and aftercare. The initial pricing can be daunting but this whole experience justifies the price. 2 piercers, detailed explanations, aftercare spray and cleanser, a goody bag and a certificate of bravery. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone getting their child’s ears pierced.
