So me and my boyfriend both wanted piercings, he wanted his eyebrow and I wanted a labret. Initially when we walked in we weren’t greeted nicely at all. It was very straightforward which is fine, but when he asked for our ids my boyfriend pulled his out of his wallet and handed it to the guy, he handed it to him upside down because that’s how he pulled it out of his wallet but the guy working the front counter said you know handing me your ID upside down isn’t gonna hide anything because I have to scan it anyways. Me and my boyfriend gave each other this look like that was kind of rude because he wasn’t trying to hide anything. It’s just he pulled it out of his wallet like that, but we ignored it. We left it alone and then I’ve never gone anywhere where I’ve had to pay for my piercing before I get the piercing, but we did. So then he tells us that the piercer is outside smoking again perfectly fine. I get it. Finally the piercer comes back in and he says y’all ready we said yes we go back there. He has everything set up and he had gloves on. he marked my lip and I like the placement so I said let’s do it. I sat down in the chair. He cleaned nothing off. He didn’t wipe down the area that he was piercing or anything like that but in the moment I was excited so I honestly wasn’t paying much attention until after the fact when I realized he didn’t clean anything, he pierced it. It was fine. He did a good job or I at least thought he did a good job. Anyways, then he starts piercing My boyfriend also did not clean anything off when he pierced him and I’m honestly not even sure that I saw him change his gloves when he went to pierce my boyfriend but he pierced him his eyebrow came out really good. It looks great. It’s still looks great but then we get in the car and start driving down the road and I take a look at my piercing and it’s crooked like very crooked so obviously I’m pretty upset about the whole situation. The piercer himself was pretty kind a little quiet, but there’s nothing wrong with that. My main issue is the way we were greeted when we first walked in the fact that we had to pay before we got the piercings and then the fact that my piercing is crooked I was pretty excited. This place had good reviews it was fairly cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for. I’m not one to write nasty reviews or hound on a business. I like to give everybody the benefit of the doubt, but I mean it when I say, I am truly disappointed in this establishment. Update: woke up and my piercing had completely fallen out. I was planning to get it removed anyways. But regardless it should not have fallen out on its own like that. I attached another photo of what it looks like now. It had started looking icky yesterday. I haven’t worn any makeup on my face and I cleaned it like normal. I’ve never had this happen. I’ve had many piercings and I must say this is the first time something like this has happened to me. Update number 2!!!! This is an added photo of my boyfriend’s eyebrow, he’s cleaned it normally and done everything correctly. I know eyebrows are a little harder to heal but this is ridiculous.
