River City Tattoo Chesterfield Towne Center

I brought my daughter (3yrs) in for the children’s ear piercing package. Everything was great, easy and comfortable. We had Sophie as our main piercer and she was amazing, so sweet and really made the experience enjoyable. My daughter was excited to see Sophie when we went back after loosing one of the earrings. Everyone was else was very nice too. I would definitely recommend!

I got my daith pierced by Charlotte and it was a dream. She knew how to properly evaluate my anatomy and safely chose the ear that worked best. Her technique was immaculate, I've gotten tons of piercings, and for this being a supposedly tough one, I literally didn't feel it. They had titanium hoops which are perfect for a daith, definitely excited to upgrade the jewelry once it's fully healed. Everyone there was super nice and I only spent maybe 20 minutes total in the shop, no appointment (I called before coming though, you're not always this lucky).

I highly recommend Charlotte for your piercing needs! She is my go to girl from here on out!! I brought my daughter in for a navel piercing last week for her birthday and was not impressed with the service we originally received from Evan. The piercing was very off centered and started to embed on the bottom. I brought her back today and Charlotte took great care of us! She was fast friendly and professional! She took the time to redo the piercing completely and free of charge!

This review isn't about the artist's work. AJ, the artist who did my tattoo, was truly exceptional. He did an outstanding job, and I think he has the demeanor and character to successfully run his own place. AJ was prompt, comforting, and did such an incredible job on my tattoo. I'd recommend him to anyone. Looking at his work, this guy can do amazing on any style you might want. However, the person at the front desk was pretty detached. It seemed like her interactions showed she was annoyed. I don't remember seeing her be positive with any of the customers. As a small business owner myself, I get how important it is to have a welcoming and friendly person as the first point of contact. If someone's unhappy with their coworkers or customers, maybe a career change would be good. Even at the end when I was paying, not a thank you or how was it or anything, which I find incredibly frustrating. Besides AJ, the only other person who had a great attitude was the lady doing piercings. She was so nice to everyone she interacted with and being in the middle of the room for my tattoo, I could see her being such an understanding and caring person. I wish I could say I would be back but with the way the front desk person made me feel, I will contiune going elsewhere for my tattoos.

Arrived at River City Tattoo in Chesterfield Town Center before they opened with my stepdaughter as she wanted to get her first tattoo, which gave me an excuse to get another one. AJ was our artist and listened to what both of us wanted and gave us suggestions that would in his opinion make what we wanted better, and his suggestions definitely did not disappoint. My stepdaughters came out great and it was a great experience for her first time! AJ totally exceeded my expectations with mine and took the time to make it unique and totally awesome! AJ was very personable and professional and I would highly recommend him. Its been many years since I have gotten a tattoo, but I will be back soon to see AJ for another! GO BILLS!!
