I got a tattoo by yaz and I absolutely love it. She was so sweet and easy going not to mention she is amazing at what she does. But even outside of my tattoo the environment or the shop is 10/10. My boyfriend also got his ear pierced here and the piercer was one of the most kind and caring piercers i’ve ever met! Everyone is so nice and made me feel so welcomed. 100% recommend

I can not say enough good things about Kyah. I first came in a few months ago to get an earring changed out and I was back soon after for a new piercing. And two more after that. I'll be back again as soon as my latest heal up. Kyah is so welcoming and warm and amazing at what she does. She's curated a beautiful, relaxing space for piercing and you can tell how much she loves her work. Whether you're a newbie to piercings or a veteran, you're in good hands with her. She doesn't rush you and shows all the options for placement and jewelry (she's got so many good pieces!) before committing and the actual piercing process is super quick and easy. I'm so happy to have found her and look forward to more piercings from Kyah 💜

I had been looking for profesional POC artists for awhile and this place was very inclusive. It’s a small, locally run tattoo and piercing shop and they offer thorough services at great quality and prices. Gabby did great job on a simple shoulder piece for me. Kyah who briefly greeted me at the door really adds an element of fresh air with her personable energy treating everyone with intention and kindness. I’ll be returning, happy to work with several very talented artists and the energy between the staff is delightful. Makes it comfortable to be there.

I went here to get my eyebrow pierced & Kyah was SO sweet & welcoming! She did an incredible job and was very intentional about making sure I left with what I loved! She was recommended to me by one of friends & I will definitely be passing that message along! I also really appreciated the shop as a whole being a very welcoming place for Black queer people. I felt incredibly safe and taken care of here! I’m looking forward to coming back to Misfit for my future piercings & tattoos!

Dora was incredible from start to finish. She was kind, patient, and so informative, making sure I understood every step of the process and felt completely comfortable the entire time. Her professionalism really stood out — the space was clean, calm, and welcoming, and her attention to detail was top-tier. She took the time to listen, answered all my questions, and treated my idea with so much care and respect. The tattoo itself is beautifully done, delicate, and exactly what I hoped for. You can tell she truly loves her craft and cares deeply about her clients. If you’re looking for an artist who is talented, gentle, knowledgeable, and genuinely wonderful to work with, I can’t recommend Dora enough. I will absolutely be coming back!
