Pink Possum Tattoo

The BEST tattoo shop ever! It is a Queer/Trans owned business and one of the most welcoming LGBTQIA+ spaces I’ve found in Richmond. The main studio space is very comfy and accommodating and every artist will ensure you’re comfortable for the duration of the experience. They have fidgets and can accommodate lots of different sensory needs, and they will ensure you’re 100% happy with the design and placement before starting the actual tattoo. Micha and Saturday have both tattooed me now, and they have both been fantastic. The artists are dedicated to creating amazing original art (no AI slop flash designs) and can work in a ton of different styles. Truly my favorite shop experience, and I’ll keep on coming back until I run out of space to ink!

When I walked in with 3 of my friends who were visiting from out of town, we were greeted with warmth and excitement! Everyone in the shop was so kind and reassuring throughout the process, and the space is so cute! Saturday did my tattoo and they were amazing. They stayed late to finish our tattoos, but never once did the process feel rushed or unwelcoming. They truly care about their work and gave us an amazing experience even after a long day! We appreciate the team at Pink Possum so much, highly recommend!

Micha is everything I could ever ask for in a tattoo artist! Whether I have a very specific design or a vague inkling of an idea, Micha delivers exquisite work! Micha takes my comfort into consideration and makes sure I'm not just pushing through and dealing with pain because I think I have to get it done. The whole shop makes me feel like I'm hanging out with friends and every visit has been full of laughs.

Saturday is such an incredibly talented and sweet person. They made the almost 4 hour tattoo session as comfortable as possible & has been incredibly helpful with planning everything. They clearly take pride in their work, and they care about their customer's well-being. The whole shop has a very clean yet chill vibe, and everyone there was kind and welcoming. By far the shop that I have felt the most comfortable in. Looking forward to future sessions!
