Blue Horseshoe Tattoo & Piercing

ZERO THE HERO!!! I wanted a tattoo for my birthday and wasnt sure exactly of what I wanted. I gave Zero complete artistic freedom for my tattoo and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! This is the second tattoo I’ve gotten from Blue Horseshoe and both times I have been, have both been amazing experiences. Everyone is so friendly and kind and it’s genuinely such a comfortable experience. I am highly looking forward to my next tattoo coming up with Biffy, and all the work that Zero and I have planned for the future. I seriously recommend going to see Zero or Biffy, or any of the seriously talented artists at Blue Horseshoe for your next tattoo!

Went here for my first tattoo last year as a walk in. It was a small, script tattoo on my arm and loved how it turned out. Followed all aftercare instructions and used the provided aftercare they gave us and the tattoo healed horribly. It’s almost as if the tattoo artist did not go in deep enough and now I have to get this covered up. A few weeks ago, I made an appointment with an artist, “Biffy” her work looked good and my friend has gotten her tattoos done by her so I was like why not.. I’ll go ahead and book with her.. So I did. I sent her the design I wanted and she said she’d be able to do it. She also asked If I wanted a custom design and I said sure.. Later that day she sent me the “custom” design she had made for me and I liked it. Then the day of my appointment I obviously get the tattoo and it looks good. Followed all aftercare instructions and now a majority of the lines are blown out and the linework just isn’t good at all. Not sure why I came back to this place after my first tattoo turned out horribly. Also payed $340 for this tattoo which was the first red flag because it isn’t a big tattoo at all and literally is just lines.. Oh and I forgot to mention that the “custom” design she made for me was a pinterest tattoo I found that she apparently made changes to. Hopefully I can find an artist that will be able to fix this for me because she went pretty deep into my skin.. So hard that I can clearly see the ink spreading under the skin beyond the actual tattoo.

My mom and I got matching tattoos from Marie here in December 2025 and she was so amazing! Her linework for fine line is absolutely STUNNING! I definitely plan to have her do all of my other work :)

I have been seeing Vinny or @mr.goodboy.ink on insta for a couple years now and he has done at least 50% of my tattoos if not more. He is an amazing artist!! And has been my go-to artist since I found him. His work is amazing and I have never loved my ink more than with him. He’s so friendly and always makes me feel relaxed at home with either hours of conversation or if I’m not feeling it that day putting something interesting on the tv and letting me zone out. The staff at bhs oceana are always so sweet even if it’s not the closest to me I always go there for the bonds I’ve made over the years. I also have many many piercings from their piercing artist Brandi and she’s done pretty much all of my piercings and is super helpful with aftercare questions. Not to mention aftercare for both tattoos and piercings is always included in the price and you always get that aftercare!

Been here multiple times over the last calendar year to have a couple anime pieces done by Nichole. Every session I’ve had with Nichole has been so great: she’s incredibly knowledgeable about her craft, very personable, and a wonderful artist. Her eye for what translates well artistically both immediately and overtime has proven to be excellent. I cannot recommend her highly enough. On top of that, I can’t say enough positive things about the professionalism displayed by the artists that work here. My wife and I both enjoy coming to this shop a ton and will certainly be back. The Evil Eye piece is a work in progress, finishing it up in a few days. The Chainsaw Man piece is about to be a year old and still looks incredibly sharp.
