Salt Water Tattoo

I was a walk-in at 5:00 wanting a fairly large American traditional color piece. The my took care of me and Justin did great work for a fair price. The shop is super clean and everybody was chill. I wanted my grandbaby’s name with a heart with stitches (she’s a heart surgery baby) and my prayer for her since before she was born. The tattoo is beautiful and I’m super pleased

all of the artists here seem really nice and the shop is cool in general. My go-to artist here is Chris Stoll, I have gotten work done by him for years and will continue to do so. Always quick and thorough, my work always heals smoothly and hes even fixed a couple bad tattoos I've gotten from other artists elsewhere.

I was referred to saltwater tattoo by many people who have gotten work done there. I have been following a few of the artists there for a while and decided it was time to get some work done. I originally had an idea for a tattoo and I unfortunately changed my mind there but he accommodated me and I decided on a Geisha design. He had me in and out in a little over 2 hours and the work he did was phenomenal. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience at this shop.

Tony is a great artist, they all seem to be. But the experience is also a big part of it all. We were visiting in the area and my son found Joeys work online and bugged out. He has wanted Japanese work but couldn’t find an artist he liked near us. We were only there for the day we popped in (he is also an artist and wants to get into tattooing himself), he’s 18. He wanted anything from Joey and it was his birthday. So we agreed if he can get him to do a little something we’d hook him up. He wanted a ring of flames below his elbow and he wanted it to be the first of his soon to be sleeve, he talked about coming back from NH and having Joey do more. In talking with him the pretentiousness and how he made us feel put off like a little tattoo was annoying, Instead of remembering how he felt when he was young and wanting to get into tattooing or getting his first tattoo. my son left there happy he got a tattoo but we can tell the wind got sucked from his sails. It took him a while to get back and realize his passion for art and perusing tattooing, thankfully. We paid over $380 and it took him all of 20 minutes, he would have been better off waiting for a flash sale for $60 somewhere else to get the same tat. after it healed most of the flame tips blew out and some of the fill ins weren’t consistent, he’ll have to have someone who cares about EVERY piece he puts on anybody, camouflage the blow outs later. Just super discouraging. I’m an award winning chef and went through my pretentious phase a bit, it didn’t matter then and it doesn’t matter now, if I’m making a burger, I’m going to make it as best as I can, give you a good experience dining and hope you love it.

From put of town. But found this place, quickly fell in love. Quick service, no appointment and I was taken care real quick. Prices are still good. Ink is amazing. Very good professionals keeping a business down to earth. Solid 5 start
