138 Tattoo & Body Piercing

I have had piercings done. Very clean and friendly. Though I do not have a tattoo based on what I have observed this is the place I would go.

Cannot recommend 138 enough to anyone looking to get ANY kind of tattoo or piercing work done. The staff treat you like family. They will make sure whatever you need done is finished in a professional, experienced, sanitary, relaxed environment without annihilating your wallet. I won't go anywhere else ever again.

I can’t properly express in words how fabulous this rework of a 13 year old tattoo turned out but I’m gonna try anyways. Well beyond my expectations. 150% satisfied and then some. Steve is an amazing ARTIST not just a tattoer. He took what I wanted into consideration then proceeded to “pimp” my existing tattoo with his own personal magic. The overall vibe at this shop and experience it provides their clients is second to none. I live in the Richmond area and traveled past atleast 15 other studios that were closer to home to come to 138 but I would gladly travel 3Xs the distance to make my next ink stop with these guys.

Today was my first time at 138 Tattoo & Piercing but I will definitely go back. I inquired online and they responded same day with the information I needed. The shop was clean and very sanitary so that is super important. The day of my tattoo was nerve wrecking for me however they made the process easy and really answered all my questions so I felt much better. My husband and I were getting tattoos in memory of my baby that passed and the owner James made the experience memorable. So if you're in need of a tattoo, I highly recommend them and if you need a piercing please see Naomi, she was absolutely amazing. Thank you James, Naomi and staff for everything!!!

Olivia is fantastic! Her lines are flawless and she is extremely talented! Would highly recommend 138 Tattoo. The atmosphere in the shop is perfect! Keep up the good work!! Also Naomi is great at piercings. She is very knowledgeable and that is appreciated!
