Steven Santa Cruz is an exceptional artist. We gave him an idea and his vision made it come to life. We loved every minute of the experience we had in his VIP private studio and the finished product will stay with us forever in a moment of Mother’s Day bonding.

Couldn’t be happier with my experience at Inked Life Miami. Agustina was outstanding—professional, easy to work with, and incredibly talented. My fine-line tattoo came out crisp, clean, and exactly what I was hoping for. If you’re thinking about getting a fine-line tattoo, I definitely recommend booking with her.

I chose Kevin Deuso (owner of inked life Miami) after months of researching artists in Denver (his other shop the Jade Tiger) and completing several consultations. During our initial meeting, he was kind, attentive, and we spent close to an hour discussing my vision, which made me feel confident moving forward. Unfortunately, my experience the day of the tattoo was very different. The tone felt noticeably less welcoming, and I felt uncomfortable at several points. When I asked for small adjustments to the design, the response came across as frustrated rather than collaborative, which made the process more difficult than expected. During the tattoo session, there were moments where phone use occurred while gloves were on. This stood out to me and contributed to my overall discomfort with the experience. Within 24 hours of the appointment, I experienced symptoms that required medical attention and was treated for an infection. While I cannot definitively determine the cause, this added to my concerns about the overall experience. Now that the tattoo has healed, there are also aspects of the linework that I’m not fully satisfied with. For a service at this price point (around $1,000), I expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and care throughout the process. I’m sharing this to encourage others to thoroughly evaluate fit and comfort before committing, especially for a permanent piece. Edited to add: his messages calling me dirty and obese to other potential clients when confronted about this. This man is trying to pressure me to remove my review as well.

Agustina did an outstanding job on both of my tattoos. From the beginning, she was incredibly thoughtful and detailed — not just in the execution, but in helping guide placement, sizing, and overall composition to make sure the tattoos fit naturally and looked balanced. She offered great perspective and suggestions throughout the process, which made a huge difference. Her artistry and precision are obvious in the final work. The fine line detail is exceptionally clean, and the black ink work came out beautifully. You can tell she genuinely cares about both the art and the client experience. I would strongly recommend Agustina to anyone looking for high-quality fine line or black ink tattoos. Talented, professional, collaborative, and meticulous.
