Returning for my second tattoo from David at Fine Ink in Valerica, words can’t say enough on how gentle, efficient, friendly and caring that David is. He is not happy until you are extremely happy with your tattoo. The environment is Very Clean and cheerful I would never go anywhere else with the service I have received from David at Fine Ink

Amazing experience and atmosphere! Dejon executed my tattoos and I LOVE them! They are absolutely beautiful and he is truly an amazing tattoo artist. He is very thorough, light handed and he takes pride in his art. I also had my piercing reopened (belly ring) and Casper was so nice and thorough as well! Please have your piercings or tattoos executed here, you will not be disappointed.

Dejon was absolutely amazing. he did a great job and covered up my old tattoo amazingly. he was super sweet as well. 10/10 experience most definitely will be back for sure!

In the past couple of months, i’ve had the pleasure to visit two Fine Ink Studios locations in Central Florida (Tampa-USF & Valrico) and I’ve had a wonderful experience at both! In early May, I had a tattoo consultation with Dennis (🇵🇷❤️) at the Valrico, FL location, and he was very kind, attentive, personable, and supportive in my decision to finally permanently adorn my skin with a bookish piece. He also worked with me regarding the price and I was very thankful for that! On the day of my tattoo, Dennis made sure that I was comfortable, ready to begin, and he showed me all of the equipment that he would be using that day, including the ink. I’ve come to realize that artists who take their time to explain these details with me, I end up having a really positive session, and I was not wrong in that sense. Dennis occasionally checked in with me to make sure that I was good, allotted stretch breaks and moments for me to check in with my kid (who was perfectly fine the entire time sitting on the couch on her Switch, lol), and he made sure if I needed a snack break, I grabbed what I could when I was feeling a little hungry. Although we didn’t speak much in our session (which I was totally okay with because it allowed me to make a dent in my book!😊), the other artist across from us, whose name I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to make a note of (buzz cut guy from Indiana with a Wu-Tang tat!😝) provided great conversation ranging from music, to sports, and traveling! I couldn’t believe how effortlessly everyone in the shop connected with their clients and truly made them feel welcome. Overall, the shop has an incredible vibe, the artists there love what they do, and I can see why in the few hours I was there, it was consistently buzzing with music, conversation, and walk-ins eager to get stabbed (in a good way). If you’ve made it this far in my review, and you’ve been on the fence about booking, please do yourself a favor and at least book a consultation, just to see how you feel, because a great tattoo in a shop you can trust, can be hard to come by; but if you take a chance with Fine Ink Studios, you won’t be disappointed. 🖤🙌🏽🔥

2 reviews. 1 for Jose Castillo & 1 for Drew. I was scheduled with Jose Castillo at Fine Line Tattoo for a black & gray butterfly and cross piece around my wrist on Monday Feb. 16th. I brought in my own design, and Jose was incredible at adjusting it so it flowed perfectly with the anatomy of my wrist. He killed it with the fine details and was so easy to work with. Jose has a very light touch, which made the session easy, and his vibes are top-notch. The fine line work is crisp and looks exactly how I envisioned. Highly recommend Jose if you want someone who really pays attention to how a tattoo sits on the body! On Tuesday, Feb 17th, while my Aunt was getting a tattoo done by David, one of the other artists, Drew, was able to fit me in for a custom piece, and I couldn't be happier. I wanted to combine three different birth month flowers into one design, which felt like a tall order, but Drew handled it perfectly. He designed a stunning, balanced bouquet that looks elegant and intentional. The fine line work is incredibly crisp, and his black & gray shading gives it so much depth. If you’re looking for someone who can take a concept and turn it into a piece of art, go see Drew!
