Absolutely 5 stars for Dougie Mitts! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dougie does incredible work. He’s talented, professional, thoughtful, and really takes the time to make sure the piece feels right before bringing it to life. His attention to detail and artistry are amazing, and the entire experience felt comfortable and easy from start to finish. I’m beyond happy with my tattoo and would absolutely trust Dougie with another piece. If you’re looking for an artist who genuinely cares about his craft and the person he’s tattooing, I highly recommend him!

I didn’t get tattooed at ROA, but as a tattoo collector visiting from France, it was more than a thrill to be able to visit the shop. Rock of Ages Tattooing is without question one of the finest tattoo studios in all of Austin and has been setting the standard since 2005. The roster of artists is incredibly talented and covers a wide range of styles from traditional and black and grey to fine line and everything in between. The studio is spotlessly clean and the team takes the time to really listen to your ideas and work with you to create something truly personal and unique. Walk ins are always welcome which makes it super convenient and the whole atmosphere is relaxed, professional and completely welcoming from the moment you walk through the door. It is easy to see why this place has so many loyal repeat customers and I will absolutely be coming back for my next piece.

Top notch tattoo shop with amazing artists on staff that can do almost any design and style. I drive down from Dallas to get my work done! One of the top shops in Texas if not the top! Scheduling is easy and the focus is on you when you are there to design and help you create the tattoo you want.

Super cool shop! I first popped in for a walk in when I was visiting Austin in 2022. Josh was really welcoming, very easy to talk to and understood exactly what I wanted - he did an awesome job. I've since had the pleasure of getting two more tattoos from him, both are incredible designs of his. He always makes me feel really comfortable and is super attentive of design placement and colour choices. He's an incredible and original artist and I'll 100% be back for more! Thank you!
