Too Bad Tattoo

Marlo is amazing!! I have several tattoos from her and honestly she is the only person I trust completely with tattooing. She is not only an amazing artist, but she is super sweet and makes you feel 100% comfortable during your time with her. I am always recommending her to everyone who compliments my tattoos that she has done and that’s pretty often because they’re fantastic! Thanks Marlo!!

Marlo is AMAZING. She made my dreams come true twice now, and was so flexible and kind about placement and size. She was so easy to talk to, and truly the sweetest. I’d recommend her 10 times out of 10. I tell everyone I know about her, and now I’ll tell anyone considering getting a tattoo here!! Marlo is the BEST!!

Update: After this review MK returned my deposit. I had an appointment with MK almost two months ago. Like many, the tattoo I was getting was extremely sentimental. Because MK doesn't send the sketch prior to your appointment, I picked an appointment that my dearest friend could come with me. About 45 minutes before my appointment MK had texted me, because I didn't see her message through IG. Her message said her son was sick, she had to cancel and was very sorry. This is understandable, and I rescheduled my appointment. Here is where the 1 star comes in. My friend, who was with me for my appointment had taken off work and arranged childcare to come with me, so for my rescheduled appointment I had to go alone. I had messaged MK and let her know that because of the reschedule, my friend couldn't come and that I was hoping she could send the sketch ahead of time so I could have my friend look at it. I know some artist are worried about people stealing their artwork, so I had offered to pay the remaining cost, in addition to my $100 security deposit ahead of time. MK NEVER RESPONDED. I reached out through IG and the number she texted me from. Reaching out to her for this accommodation went on for days without a single word from her SHE GHOSTED ME!! In the late hours before my appointment I canceled because there was no way I was going to get such a sentimental piece that I was so excited for and planned accordingly, under such bitter arrangements. It's ironic how her cancelation policy and fees are to respect her; but it's okay for her inconvenience her client, she has a superiority complex. Canceling because her son is sick, is 10000% out of her control (like I'm sure clients have done to her, which is why she made the policy to being with), but her inability to be flexible for the scenario created by her circumstances is not okay. In my cancelation I told her, she should return my downpayment. Almost 2 months later, no refund, and the only time I've ever heard from her was to cancel my appointment. Extremely unprofessional and only cares about herself. I'm sure the shop is great, but MK is a careless and I'd never recommend something to go on anyone bodies from an artist that doesn't care; and if she does, she did an absolutely miserable job conducting herself in my situation.

Everything about this place is perfect. I’ve been getting tattoos from Bree (@myb.tattoo on instagram) for years! She is incredibly talented, kind, and professional. I’m so glad to follow her to this new studio. I can not recommend this place and Bree enough!

I can't say enough good things about the artists and owner at Too Bad Tattoo (@toobadtattoo). I've gotten 6 tattoos from Bella (@bellytatty) over the last few months and they all turned out amazing. These were my first tattoos and the overall process was so easy and professional. Bella took my vision and created custom pieces that were better than I had imagined. They were also so welcoming and accommodating, especially the pup Archie. You can also tell they care so much about the space and actually love working alongside each other. 12/10 recommend.
