Ink Couture Tattoos

Took my daughter to get a tattoo for her 19th bday! Josh was AWESOME! Made her feel like she was getting a tattoo back on the islands! He listened to what she wanted and nailed it! We will definitely be back and 110% recommend to all our family and friends, especially in the surrounding SA area!!

I had an amazing experience here with Ciara! First off: I had had a really bad weekend and walked in not in the best mood. Ciara's authentic and welcoming self turned my sour attitude right around and got me excited again about my tattoo. Ciara is very understanding, empathetic, and knowledgeable in her field. She has a way of leading you through your tattoo decisions that make you confident before she even touches your skin. I even got to meet Yvette and she was very nice and funny as well! I will be going back next week to get another tattoo because I know the forever art I'm receiving is worth it!

I had a great experience getting tattooed by Yvette. She was super friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. You can tell she really cares about her work and her clients. I’ll definitely be going back for more work in the future!

I visited with Josh and got a piece that I've been wanting for as long as I can remember. Josh was super responsive, helpful, and an amazing artist overall. He works super quick and gives you a bang for your buck. Definitely recommend this shop if you're in the San Antonio area and looking to get some amazing work done.

To mark this special milestone, I wanted to let my son get the tattoo of his dreams for his 18th birthday. He’s always talked about getting a Filipino tribal sleeve to honor his roots and we wanted to get matching “Mahal Kita” tattoos using my mom’s handwriting. Finding an artist with the skill, cultural understanding, and attention to detail for something this important was absolutely crucial. After researching artists within driving distance, I found Josh at Ink Couture and I’m so grateful I did. From the very beginning, he was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and intentional. One moment that truly stood out was when I realized I accidentally sent him a reference image of the Filipino sun with the wrong number of rays. Thankfully Josh immediately caught it and made sure the design stayed true to the Filipino flag. That level of awareness and respect meant so much to us, other artists might have missed it. We were beyond emotional by the time we got back in car, taking everything in. Omg and I’m tearing up just writing this review right now lol! This was more than just getting tattoos, it was a beautiful way to connect with our heritage and create something deeply meaningful that my son and I will share forever. I’m so incredibly thankful to Josh for his artistry, professionalism, and care. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly HIGHLY recommend Josh and Ink Couture!
