Ink Couture Tattoos

My sister and I did some research on local tattoo artists who did good script work as we were going to get matching tattoos. A friend recommended Ink Couture, so we researched all the artists at the San Antonio area locations. We decided on Alexis, at the San Pedro Ave. location, to do our work because of his expertise with fine lines and script. We sent him a design in advance, and he came back with a proposed layout and we agreed on a price. Although English is not his primary language, we did fine communicating through text in advance of the appointment. He completed the work on both our tattoos, and they were exactly according to the sketch we had sent him. There was a little confusion concerning whether or not I had asked previously for color to be placed in the drawing of the owl, but we quickly resolved that. When I asked about the military discount when I was checking out, he stated I was already getting a discount because he put color in the owl and that would have been an extra $50. So I was a little bit disappointed about that, but we were both pleased with the outcome of Alexis’s work. I highly recommend this cool, laid back, but professional shop! Easy to make an appointment, comfortable atmosphere, clean, clean, clean!, friendly service!!

From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and professional. My artist took the time to make sure I was comfortable, answered all of my questions, and paid incredible attention to detail. The shop was clean, the atmosphere was great, and the final tattoo turned out even better than I imagined. It’s healing beautifully, and I’ve already received so many compliments. Stellar is great! We stopped in from Kansas to get work done. Well worth the trip! Line work is crazy good. If you get a chance to get some of her work, you won't be disappointed. We had a black tattoo done and some full color. She did great with both. All of the work done was drawn up and designed by Stellar as well. Very talented!

I am absolutely obsessed with the work that Akemi did. You can’t even tell that it is a cover up. She was so kind and professional. She did an absolutely amazing freehand work. I will be telling everyone who and where I got this work done. I will be definitely coming to her for all of my future tattoos!!

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had getting tattooed. drago’s linework is incredibly clean and precise — you can tell he really take his time and cares about the best tattoo results, i came in with a picture and he brought it to life perfectly, and the whole thing was done in like 2 hours. 10/10 already thinking about my next one! but not only that, the whole vibe in this place is freaking awesome, everyone was kind and inviting and made me feel right at home, please come in to talk to drago about your next tattoo, you will not be disappointed!!
