My sister and I went to Black Sphynx on Sunday after seeing some of the flash on TikTok. Our tattoo artist was Hayden and they were amazing!! They fit us both in for 3 tattoos total and even stayed late for us. Hayden was so kind, and they have such a light hand- the tattoos were a breeze. Hayden was very proactive about keeping us comfortable, especially with my nervousness. I have a pretty gnarly scar on my leg and they helped with placement to avoid tattooing a potentially painful area. They also helped me style-wise determine where to put them so the placement complimented my other tattoos and anatomy. Thank you Hayden, we will be back!

I got my tattoo done four years ago, but within three months after getting it, I was realizing all the things I hated about it, And even more so how much I hated my experience there.
When I was first making the appointment, I had gave a design that I made and I made it very clear that I was the artist who made the design, and I got confirmation that they could in fact do it, and I was given a quote ( I did end up bringing an extra hundred dollars more than what I was quoted to the appointment)
Fast forward a couple days to my appointment, and as my tattoo artist came to me about the design she was gonna do and she showed me the design she “mocked up” I was immediately confused and asked her “why was it changed” She said “ because it is stolen from Pinterest”. Which immediately made me upset, made and feel very insulted and embarrassed because it 100% wasn’t stolen! I had told her that “it was not stolen” and she proceeded to ask me for proof and when I showed her the drawing on my phone and the layers, she still didn’t believe me so she asked for a video of me drawing it, and I showed her that as well. So now I was really Getting embarrassed and I felt put on the spot so I just decided to go with her design.
Three hours later into the session.
At this point, I realize she’s only has a little more than a quarter done of my tattoo, which is only the length of My hand but not Wide and all line work.
I started to get very suspicious about how much it was gonna cost because of the time and so I asked her “ so how much do you think this is gonna cost?” She said “ like $500 to $700 “
I immediately panicked so I told her “ Oh, I was told that this was only going to be a little more than a three hour appointment so I only brought a little more than what I was quoted” She said “oh!”
She then immediately started pulling on my skin, hard and rushing my tattoo, which made my tattoo crooked, and she Missed lines. ( BTW, I spent a while looking in both of their mirrors to make sure that it was not crooked before she had started)
I 100% feel like She was trying to scam me because she knew that this was my first tattoo and she probably figured I knew nothing and that She could pull a fast one on me. I know for a fact that with what I got, it should not cost Half of $1000.
That is ridiculous for Line work!!!!
No, I’m embarrassed to really show it so I try as hard as I can to cover it up until I can get it removed. Would have loved it if it was my design and it was done correctly.
Also, the vibe was so off there, I could feel the Cattiness radiating off of them when I even went to go make my appointment

I felt like I deserve a tattoo after a long week. Always seen this shop in my Instagram feed and my friend follows their page. Check to see that they have monthly flash tattoos and wanted to see what's available. Came to the shop, really nice and clean. They had a wall full of different flash tattoos. A lot to select from the current to the previous months. So many to choose from. Found my piece that I wanted on my skin. The price is affordable including if you wanted shaded and/or colored. My tattoo artist Sydnie is really nice, patient, good with conversations, and did a amazing job on this piece. Would recommend this on place. I might be going again on getting another flash tattoo or see on getting a custom tattoo later on.
