I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but after multiple appointments and ongoing issues, I feel like I need to share my experience. My initial appointment on April 20th started with my artist letting me know she would be about 15 minutes late. Things happen, so I didn’t think much of it and let it go. When I came back for my touch-up on May 19th, there was another miscommunication that resulted in me waiting an additional 30 minutes. Again, I tried to be understanding. Unfortunately, my tattoo faded again after the touch-up. When I reached out to the shop’s assistant, they responded to my first message but then completely stopped replying. I eventually messaged my artist on Instagram, where my message was left on read. After expressing that I felt this was unprofessional, I was finally scheduled for yet another touch-up this time having to pay for it. What made the experience even more frustrating was the constant shift of blame onto me. Since this was my first tattoo, I relied on my artist to guide me through the process. Instead, I was repeatedly made to feel like the problems were somehow my fault because I “didn’t know” how tattoos worked. As someone getting their first tattoo, I expected education and professionalism, not to be made to feel responsible for issues that I couldn’t have anticipated. Today was the final straw. After I had already arrived for my appointment, I was told my artist would once again be 15 minutes late. There was no apology or consideration for my time, and throughout the appointment the artist was not polite and made the entire experience uncomfortable. Being late once is understandable. But being late at every appointment, having poor communication, ignoring messages, requiring multiple touch-ups because the tattoo continued to fade, shifting blame onto a first-time client, and then charging me again while providing poor customer service is unacceptable. I invested my time, money, and trust into this experience, and it has been disappointing from beginning to end. I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience. I hope they improve their communication, professionalism, accountability, and respect for their clients’ time. The photos below are my first time getting it done, it’s fade, second time getting it done, and it’s smaller fade, and the current fresh tattoo
