Tattoo Thank You

This is where you should get tattooed in Denver! I recently saw Jamie for a custom piece and she was just so lovely to work with. She made the entire experience simple and enjoyable. I couldn’t be happier with the tattoo. The shop itself was a breath of fresh air. I would recommend any of the artists even after spending just a few hours around them. It’s clear they aren’t just super talented; they also listen to their customers and truly care about their work. I feel lucky to have found Tattoo Thank You and look forward to my next visit.

I had an incredible experience working with Aubrey on a custom forearm piece, and I couldn’t be happier with both the process and the final result! This was not a quick walk-in tattoo. I came in with an older compass that I had gotten years ago and wanted to refresh, plus build around in an intentional way. I brought a mood board, general concept, and personal meaning behind the piece, which Aubrey used during my consultations to craft the new direction . The whole process felt thoughtful, professional, and collaborative from start to finish. The shop also has a good vibe and I always felt comfortable asking questions and taking breaks. For a multi-session piece, that kind of environment makes a big difference. The artwork itself is outstanding. Aubrey refreshed the original compass and incorporated it so naturally into the new geometric design that it looks like it was always meant to be the center piece. Since finishing it, multiple people have said that to me unprompted, which says a lot about how seamless the integration is. The technical details are just as impressive. The linework is clean and precise, but what really stood out to me was her touch. The shapes were built with very thin lines that guided the structure, but once the shading was filled in, those lines blended perfectly into the final geometry. It is the kind of detail that could be easy to overlook because it is so tightly integrated, but it is part of what makes the piece feel so polished. The dotwork is also incredible. It is not just dotwork for texture, it creates a gradient effect that gives the tattoo a smooth transition between dark / light areas and negative space. Up close, you can see the individual detail and precision. From a distance, it reads as a clean, dimensional design with strong contrast and flow. Incredible she was able to give it both dimensions! The meaning of the tattoo is tied to the creative process: The dots represent the small iterations, the hours researching, experimenting, learning, building, and connecting with people. On their own, those efforts are easy to miss. But over time, they become shapes. The shapes become progress. The progress becomes completed chapters. My advice: Come prepared, trust her creative process. You'll end up with something beautiful as well.

Absolutely incredible team of artists, doing exceptional tattoos. I’ve been lucky to get inked by Savannah, Veronica and Jamie. All pieces are stunning and the vibe in the studio is amazing. Shop is comfortable and clean. And I even got a little snack during my session which helped me sit still for my thigh piece a little longer. Lol. I hope to be a long term patron.

Aubrey at Thank you tattoo is amazing! She took the picture I had in my head and brought it to life so beautifully. The colors were exactly what I had imagined, and the flowers came out perfect in shape and detail. She’s kind, intuitive and such a joy to spend time with while getting tattooed. We’re already talking about my next piece, and there’s no question I’ll be going back to her. Truly a wonderful artist and person.
