Denver City Tattoo Club

I knew of Nik and his work for well over a decade, and always wanted to get tattooed by him. When I finally did, it was a great experience and the tattoo he gave me is one of my favorites. On top of that, the shop is like a museum of Colorado tattoo history. Even though I don't live in Colorado anymore, I'd travel back just to get tattooed by Nik.

This place is simply THE BEST, especially tattoo artist Jesse Blatz! I first met Jesse when I was visiting from Philly and he did an amazing cover up of trees on my wrist (I get so many compliments on the shading!). When I moved to Denver the following year, I asked him to create a custom nature-themed half sleeve for me and he ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED IT! As someone who is normally averse to color, I wanted to explore this option this time. Jesse listened to what I wanted and accomplished something in color that was beyond my expectations, without pressure. I trust him wholeheartedly and can't wait to complete the sleeve this summer. Thanks Jesse--this world craves your creativity! I'm forever grateful for how you brought such a beautiful piece to life :-)

I could not have had a better experience. I had originally had an appointment at a different location and had a bad experience with the tattoo artist. As a walk in, they were able to look at my in progress tattoo and gladly accept. Jesse was absolutely amazing. He knew exactly how I wanted my tattoo like he could read my mind. I’m so glad I came across this shop. They were very accommodating and friendly making the experience 1000x better. They had awesome art, tons of books of all the artists work (which i heavily loved because I feel like a lot of shops the books are hidden or they don’t have them at all), they also offered water and candy and really anything you could need. Jesse frequently checked in on how I was doing during the session and was super comfortable with breaks and pauses. He was amazing at walking me through the process and all the parts he was doing in between breaks. At least for me this was extremely helpful at making me feel at ease. I was worried for my tattoo by switching artists and the brilliant work at this shop made my tattoo more beautiful than i could have imagined. THANK YOU JESSE ! THANK YOU DENVER CITY TATTOO CLUB! My wife and I got our first tattoos while on vacation in Denver. Benjamin was amazing - very friendly and helpful and did a great job. Very happy with the results.

My husband was a walk-in and they were able to sit him down within a half an hour. Great shop and really talented artists.
