Big Deluxe Tattoo

My wife and I moved to the SLC area last year and were a bit overwhelmed trying to find a new tattoo artist. After a lot of research and looking at portfolios, we decided to try Big Deluxe Tattoo. From the time we walked into the shop and throughout our time spent there we were very impressed with how welcoming the atmosphere was and how attentive and friendly everyone was (very clean too). I highly recommend Nick Kartchner. He is a very talented artist, and we were very happy with the outcome of our tattoos (Japanese dragon and hannya on my calf and my wife had 2 tattoos done...one on her forearm and leg). Thanks, Big Deluxe Tattoo and Nick for making our first pick the right one. We will definitely be back for more.

Afton is the best!! Her piercings are fast, as painless as you want them to be, and she’s so spot on with placement & sizing that I don’t even need to worry about replacing my jewelry for any reason besides style. She’s also such a cool, easygoing character that it’s easy to relax & enjoy the session. The whole shop is rad, but she’s a standout in her charisma and professionalism. I never have to worry about finding another shop or piercer with her around 🖤

I had such an amazing experience with Joe at Big Deluxe Tattoo! From start to finish, he was incredibly professional, patient, and detail-oriented. My husband and I went in together to get tattoos, and Joe made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable for both of us. What really stood out was how much attention he paid to every little detail. He took the time to make sure the design was exactly what we wanted, adjusted placement carefully, and made sure everything flowed perfectly. You can truly tell he takes pride in his work and cares about his clients. The line work is clean, the shading is beautiful, and the overall quality exceeded our expectations. Did a Halloween flash tattoo with Jeremy and he was awesome! He was really nice when I was chatting with him. He also has a a lighter hand and got my piece done pretty quick! Would definitely come back to get another tattoo from Jeremy!
