Gypsie Soul Tattoo

I absolutely love Gypsie Soul! I've been coming here ever since my tattoo artist Alex started here. It's such a cool shop and a fun environment to be in! I also can't recommend Alex Weaver enough! She's been my artist for 9 years now! I've gotten the most beautiful coverups, original pieces, memorial tattoos, portraits and a lot of her amazing flash work! She's an amazing artist and I can truly trust her that she would never use AI in *any* of her steps for a tattoo. Gypsie soul tattoo is amazing. The artists are all very kind and talented, the vibes of the shop are always chill & welcoming. Alex weaver has done just about every single tattoo I have and is absolutely the best. She’s able to get what I have as a vision for a tattoo and make it come to life even better than what I imagined. I’ve recommended my friends to go here and they’ve always had amazing experiences too. This place will not disappoint

EDIT: Chels has since been fired from this shop for blatant use of AI to false advertise on her instagram and arguing with other artists. Updated from 1 star to 5 stars. I had a disappointing experience with Chels. She was polite and professional to interact with, but I was not satisfied with the final result of the tattoo. The linework ended up uneven in several places, with stray lines, and the shading is inconsistent. Some areas have faded significantly while others appear blown out. When I raised these concerns and asked about a partial refund, the only solution offered was a touch-up. From what I’ve since learned, issues like ink blowout are not always something that can be corrected with a simple touch-up. One additional concern was that the work shown in her portfolio appears to rely on AI-enhanced images. Because of this, the tattoo I received looked noticeably different from what I expected based on the examples shown. The photo that was posted of my tattoo (which has since been removed) also looked significantly different from how it appears in person. I was originally quoted $500, but the final cost ended up being $1,400 after returning for a second full-day session. Since then, I’ve had consultations with two other artists who both advised that the blowout may require laser removal before any proper correction can be attempted. Chels herself was kind and easy to communicate with. I would simply recommend that anyone considering booking take time to review healed, unedited examples of work and be very clear about expectations before starting.

I had an amazing experience at Gypsie Soul. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Raven really took the time to listen to my ideas and brought them to life even better than I imagined. Her attention to detail and skill truly shows in her art. I couldn’t be happier with my tattoos and will definitely be coming back for more. The shop itself is very clean, and well-organized making it a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality work and a great overall experience!

I have been working with Brandon for a few years now, particularly on my colorful back piece. He's incredible as an artist, and an awesome guy. Tattooing can be painful, so I'm not going to sugarcoat that part of the experience, but Brandon is awesome to talk to and has great music taste. I have done a couple friend tattoos, which have been so fun and easy, too. I love the way my tattoos look, and I get compliments everywhere I go. I'm excited to add more colorful pieces to my body.
