The Hive SLC Tattoo & Aftercare

I recently had a Tattoo completed by Brooke and my experience was excellent from start to finish. The shop is clean and has a positive vibe. Brooke started by taking the time to ensure everything was correct with the design, sizing, and placement. She is an artist and her tattoo work is impeccable. I'm very happy with my new Tattoo! She is very easy to work with and nice to chat with which made the experience even better. I highly recommend Brooke!

From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and confident that I had chosen the right artist. Kira is amazing. This is my first large sleeve project, so I was definitely a little nervous going into a six-hour session. Those nerves disappeared pretty quickly. Kira took the time to explain the process, made sure I was comfortable, and checked in throughout the appointment. The professionalism and attention to detail were incredible. The geometric linework is extremely clean, and it’s obvious how much planning went into designing a sleeve that flows naturally with my arm. Even after six hours, I was impressed with how much progress we made. The atmosphere in the shop was relaxed and welcoming, which made the entire experience enjoyable. By the end of the session, I was actually looking forward to coming back for the next one. If you’re considering a tattoo—especially a larger custom piece—I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kira and this shop. I can’t wait to see the finished sleeve over the next few sessions.

Awesome experience.The tattoos were simple but Mason understood their meaning and made the experience start to finish amazing. It was my older sister’s first tattoo she was really comfortable with the process. The shop is really clean and inviting. The people are welcoming and fun. Had great conversations and joked with whoever was there. Best experience.

I got my first tattoo by Michelle Goodman, and from start to finish, the experience was next level. Knowing I was a nervous first-timer, Michelle talked me through every step and ensured I felt comfortable often. She designed my tattoo and took all of my ideas into account — her work is so incredibly beautiful. She designed the tattoo to flow well with my skin and the shape of my body. I had a few concerns when I first saw the design, and she quickly fixed them and we still got the tattoo done the same day. The shop itself had a super welcoming vibe. Everyone was kind and supportive while encouraging each other and their clients. There was absolutely zero condescension. My partner (who joined me for emotional support) and I were treated like friends and never felt pressured into anything. Thank you for creating the design of my dreams, Michelle!!
