Top Rocker Tattoo

Ernie did an amazing job tattooing my baby’s paw print exactly on one of the last locations my girl touched my arm. My Bonnie was my world, my heart and a huge part of my soul. I didn’t want to loose the imprint I had stamped on my arm so my mom found Ernie’s tattoo shop and signed us both up. Ernie sketched her paw print from references I had and did the tattoos exactly where we wanted them done. He was compassionate, empathetic, understanding, gentle, patient, and really helped me ground since I have been having such a hard time since the loss of my pup. He is highly skilled, light handed and highly knowledgeable in his craft. Highly recommend his studio!

Ernie was amazing. Not only did he provide perfect work, but he truly cared what he was putting on me. He took the time to research the meaning behind what I wanted, and I knew his heart was in it the whole time. To me what I wanted was a simple design, but to him that doesn’t exist in his work. He takes great pride in every single piece he does, respecting the honor of placing his art on someone’s body. As he worked I was able to see the art he is currently creating for other clients, and was awed by his gift. Additionally, Ernie ensured I was safe while in his care. I am handicapped with limited mobility in my leg and shoulder, and significant chronic pain. He was so accommodating, and made every effort to keep me comfortable and physically supported. Even making sure my temperature was regulated. When I left he helped me out and sent me off with such kind words of encouragement. I 100% recommend him and will be going back for much more work.

Got a tattoo from Ernesto last Friday and man I can’t put into words how great it came out. I went in with an idea and he drew up exactly the picture I had in my mind. Working with him was truly an experience. The knowledge he has about the art that he’s so clearly devoted his life to is second to none. I plan on getting another one ASAP and would recommend him and the shop to anyone!

My friends and I are visiting Phoenix from out of town and happened to come across Top Rocket Tattoo while exploring. On a whim, we decided to stop in and see if there was any chance we could get tattooed while we were in town, and we’re so glad we did. We went in the day before our hoped-for appointments and the artists were DOPE. Super sweet, genuinely funny, and very easy to talk to. We told them what we were thinking and they were able to get us scheduled in quickly (clearly since they had availability the next day!). If you’re considering trying for a walk-in, I’d definitely recommend just going in and asking, you might get lucky. They require a $100 deposit, and they can even take it via Apple Pay if needed (though cash is preferred), which made everything really convenient. Seth did my tattoo and one of my friend’s pieces, and he absolutely crushed it! Efficient, talented, and made the whole experience comfortable and fun. And one of the other artists who did our other friend’s tattoo and hers turned out amazing as well. Both artists were incredibly kind, professional, and clearly passionate about their work. The shop itself was clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe overall. We seriously couldn’t recommend this place enough. If we’re ever back in Phoenix, we’ll definitely be coming through again.

A solid 5 star review, I got my first tattoo with Ernie as my artist. He is spectacular, skilled, experienced and took all the nerves out of an otherwise intimidating experience. I absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to get a tattoo. The artwork is exactly what I wanted it to be and the lines are so clean and smooth. Hands down 10/10
