Dame of the West Tattoo

Great shop and experience! I was on vacation in Phoenix and had an appointment at another shop, booked months ahead of time. When I walked in, I was met with blank stares - the artist double booked. So I called around and Dame of the West hooked me up. Jonas drew up my idea in less than an hour and I was inked and on my way. Would highly recommend this shop and Jonas. He has a killer portfolio of Pokémon tattoos and he made great conversation 🤘

Dame of the West is truly in another class. My artist, Josh, was one of the most knowledgeable artists I've worked with. His respect for traditional tattooing, its history, and the meaning behind every element and its legacy is something you don't come across often. He took the time to specifically hand draw on and work my chest piece symmetry and design, and explained the thought behind the design (and for future work) instead of just putting ink on skin. His passion for tattooing and the dedication, 30+ years experience input, personality, and patience he gives to each piece is incredible. The shop itself was simply bold and impressive. Clean, welcoming, professional, and filled with other amazing staff. Hands down the best tattoo experience I've ever had. Every part of the process, from communication to the studio, to the atmosphere, to the artistry, was 1st class. I had such a great experience at Dame of the West Tattoo. My friend and I came in for matching tattoos, and Jonas did mine. He was absolutely awesome from start to finish. I was a little anxious going in, but Jonas was calm, informative, and made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. He explained everything clearly, moved quickly without making it feel rushed, and the tattoo turned out exactly how I hoped. The shop itself had such a cool setting and overall vibe, and the location was perfect with food nearby, which made the whole experience even better. This was my first time getting a tattoo with Suzy. I was blown away!!!! She is beyond talented at her profession. Her attention to detail is immaculate. She personally drew my tattoo design and it was BETTER than the picture I had sent her. She takes her time making sure the fine details catch your attention. And she is a gem of a person!!! I felt so calm throughout the entire session. She is kind, engaging, and funny. It was such a fun time with her. She is officially my new ink girlie! Never going anywhere else. Couldn’t recommend her enough. Love you Suzy!!!!!

This is the best shop! Everyone is awesome here and extremely friendly! I have been getting tatted by Josh Carter for a couple years now and will forever be thankful for everything he has done for me and the tattoos he produces! His Japanese work is beyond perfection, thank you Josh and thank you Dame of the West!
