My first tattoo and they made me feel so at ease. Maddy answered all of my questions kindly and I didn’t feel nervous at all. Very professional. Most importantly I love gown it came out. She was patient with me deciding what to get and where to put it!

This tattoo shop was hands down one of the best shops I have ever been to. It was clean, had books upon books of flash to pick from, and the vibe was INSANE. The staff and artists were all welcoming and friendly, they had awesome punk music playing, and it felt like sitting around with family getting inked. My artist, Erik, was an absolute beast! He takes your vision and idea and creates a masterpiece with it. He had a gentle hand, checks in regularly to see how you are doing, explains his tattooing process with you, and stops to give you breaks as needed. He is so polite and talkative...it makes you forget you are getting tattooed! I can't wait to go back in 2 weeks to finish!

This is my 2nd time at Top Cat and with Maddy. She did the palm tree for me in June of '25 which was my first tattoo. I've been contemplating another tattoo for even longer with a globe and a heart trail like in my pottery business. I brought a pic of both ideas and Maddy absolutely brought this to life in a way that was even better than I had hoped. I am beyond thrilled with my new tattoo!!

My partner and I were walking around the Art District and found Top Cat - we ended up getting matching tattoos that day and decided to make it a tradition. This time, @hottattoomads did work on myself and my partner, walk-ins again and chose work from their flash art! We picked different designs and could not be happier! Beautiful, clean fine line work, I would definitely have them do more work on me in the future! Their friendly, inclusive and kind disposition would make anyone feel welcome and comfortable. This shop and all the artists here are a gem. We will definitely be back.

Such a great experience! Today, Mads tattooed Star Trek communicators on me and my guy and she did a PHENOMENAL job! I’m already putting more work on the books with her. Definitely looking forward to working with Mads and all of the other talented artists at TopCat. Highly recommend!! You can’t lose no matter who you have work on you.
