I got a tattoo from Genessa yesterday and it was a wonderful experience! Good vibes. It’s a clean space with friendly, highly skilled artists. I will be back again. Thank you!

Thank you for holding my cell phone when I, J.M.Gomez, had forgotten it one hot sunny day after taking a beer break on their bench outside on the sidewalk. My boyfriend went to retrieve for me after he called me and noticed an employee at the tattoo parlor had held my cell phone. Thank you and forever so great full. God bless. P.S. I had a great experience here for my first tattoo. Staff welcomed me in and helped me start the process of filling out the form right away. The first thing I noticed was the bathrooms were very clean & the rest of the place. The vibe was chill and I enjoyed the music. And of course my tattoo artist Nila. She made me feel so welcome and made me feel at ease! I had a wonderful experience here and I’ll go back soon :)

i've been tattooed at a handful of tattoo shops in the area (both black serpents locations, girlfrxnd la, black sun, chaotic, black tower, generation 8, etc.) and this definitely isn't to say that said other shops aren't amazing -- but getting inked at proud of you was hands down my best experience to date. my artist, isaac (@_breakfxst) was so friendly, easy to talk to, and super understanding. we spent a good chunk of time on placement and he seemed like he cared about getting it right as much as i did. after we were done, it was sort of late, so the shop had "closed" already. he walked me out the back and was overall very kind. i'm normally someone who doesn't speak at all during the tattoo itself and only speaks when spoken to (more or less) during the rest of the session. but i found myself talking his ear off, so this means he wasn't intimidating. :') as for the tattoos, he killed it and i'm more than happy with how they turned out. thank you isaac & proud of you!
