I cannot say enough good things about Mirtha! I’ve now had two tattoos done by her, and every experience has been absolutely amazing. She is incredibly sweet, talented, and genuinely takes the time to listen to what you want while also giving her professional opinion on what will work best. For my most recent appointment, she did botanical filler on my already tattooed arm, and the botanicals were completely hand drawn. She was able to make everything flow beautifully with my existing tattoos and brought the whole piece together in a way I couldn’t have imagined. She also fixed a small tattoo I had gotten in Hawaii from another artist that was already starting to lose ink and didn’t have any shading. Mirtha was able to work with it and incorporate it into my existing tattoos during my botanical filler appointment. I’m so grateful she was willing to take it on, because it turned out beautifully! Her studio is clean, comfortable, and private, with enough space between workstations that you don’t feel like you’re sitting right next to another client. She even offered me tea, water, and candy during my appointment, which was such a thoughtful touch. From the consultation to the finished tattoo, I always feel heard, comfortable, and confident in her work. I had Stephanie do a shoulder tattoo for me years ago, and there was no question that I would go back to her when I decided to extend it down my arm. I live in Texas, so this was officially a destination tattoo! Stephanie is incredibly talented, but what I love most is how well she listens. I had an idea of what I wanted, but couldn’t really picture exactly how it should come together. She took my ideas, made a few changes with me, and created something even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I keep noticing little creative details she worked into the design that I didn’t even notice at first. It's just perfect and unique and everything I wanted. She tattooed for about nine hours that day and was so steady and gentle the entire time. She’s also genuinely kind and warm, which made spending that many hours together a great experience. Jibaro Tattoos was the perfect setting too. The space is whimsical, artistic, and cozy, and it made the whole experience feel even more special. I’ve been beyond happy with both tattoos she’s done for me. She somehow takes what I’m trying to describe and turns it into something that feels completely right. I’m already looking forward to making the trip back for my next one! ❤️

Got this tattoo done with Hannah at her previous shop, but she recently moved to Jibaro and I will absolutely be following her there for my next one. From initial consultation to final product, Hannah was so kind, communicative, and professional. She always repeated ideas back to make sure she was understanding what I was looking for. She gave good feedback on placement since I am planning on getting other tattoos around it. She even gave me options between two sketches on the day of my appointment. I felt so comfortable sitting and she gave several opportunities for little breaks. And the result? 🤩 Stunning. It healed so well. I cannot recommend her enough and I am excited to get my next tattoo done by her.

I have been going to Mirtha for about 4 years now. She is HIGHLY skilled and very knowledgeable about her craft. Her husband is just as talented! Together they have created an amazing shop that allows local artists to create freely and professionally. I can’t say enough about this beautiful shop!! Clean, stylish and GREAT ENERGY!!
