I've been tattooed here a bunch. The most recent is my back by the majestic wizard himself, Paul. Getting tattooed at Black Heart will make you cooler! More people will like you. In the mighty words of George Zimmer of Men's Warehouse- "You're going to like the way you look. I guarantee it."

I’ve been going to Black Heart consistently for over 17 years - all tattoos done by Jeff Rassier except one done by Moses Sarni there. I can’t recommend this shop enough. Every artist brings so much talent to the table. It’s super clean, has a historical, fun vibe and it’s right next door to Zeitgeist - SFs best outdoor bar. Jeff has taken my ideas and reworked them into beautiful pieces of art that i can collect for life. i love black heart!! 🖤

Gotten work by Moses and Fernando! Both did an amazing job on my tattoos. Special thanks to Moses for bringing my vision to life and doing such an amazing job on the one of my dog and me. Words can't explain how in love I am with it!

This is such a fantastic shop to come into. We came in with a big group of friends from out of town and six of us ended up getting tattoos. The artists were all super professional and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. They were very experienced and they had no issues getting all of us in and out quickly. Thanks for helping make our time in San Francisco that much better.I would definitely come back when I'm in town again.
