Old Crow Tattoo and Art Gallery

Phenomenal job from the artist Spit Blossom! My sister and got custom tattoos from him yesterday and I'm blown away by the quality and service. The vibes were amazing and he's so nice and great with conversation. You walk in and already you feel welcomed and everyone there is so nice. 10/10 will defiantly be going back!

Old Crow Tattoo is a Berkeley institution with excellent vibes and a sense of community and belonging. The shop is clean and welcoming to all, filled with sunlight and plants and beautiful art on the walls. The artists are passionate about the art of tattooing and will work with you to create a unique and flattering piece that fits your body. Their artists are mostly appointment only during the week, but they also accept walk-ins on weekends. I specifically worked with Gaia, the shop owner, on a custom lower leg sleeve. I had an existing piece I wanted to incorporate into the design and a small tattoo I wanted to blast over. Both the design and tattooing processes were highly collaborative and I cherish the journey we took together over many months to create a truly unique and one-of-a-kind piece. Gaia is creative, patient, passionate, and really cares about her client's comfort and enthusiastic consent throughout the creative process. The shop is comfortable and clean. There is water, tea, and snacks available if needed. I am excited to continue working with Gaia on other pieces in the future. And look forward to keeping up with Old Crow Tattoo as it continues to grow under Gaia's new ownership.

I already have some tattoos from Patakota, and when I got my most recent one, it was at Old Crow. Everyone was nice and welcoming, there was a good mood overall. The Studio is very clean and cozy, yet professional. I spent a whole day there, and at some point we got food which we ate in a separate part of the studio; we had also had drawn up the design for the day over there. They offer tea, water and little snacks to get you through your appointment - but if you're having a longer session, I still recommended bringing/getting some food (align with your artist, I guess). I'd definitely come here again.

Went there for a guest artist (madcore.tt) over the weekend. Shop is a vibe, quality resident and guest artists with their own styles. They do walk ins every day. The owner is super chill and friendly. Park on the side streets for your long sessions. Meters are 2 hours week days.

Had my first tattoo session with Gaia, the new owner, and it was such a lovely experience! Gaia is so creative and collaborative with the design process, and her precision in executing the geometric ornamentals is stunning (and the reason why I booked with her). She even had great tips for pre/post care that I hadn’t heard despite having 5 sizeable tattoos, and it’s clear how much she cares about the client as a person not just a canvas. Gaia is just such a wonderful human, and I can’t recommend her and her shop enough! Can’t wait to go back for part 2 to give color to my raccoon baby!
