Royal Peacock Tattoo Parlor

Ross has done all my tattoos and has done an amazing job on each one. Latest one was a blue lives flag on my forearm, very happy with it! Everyone at the Royal Peacock is very nice, great atmosphere.

One of their artists gave me a price and a size then I showed up to check it out and it was smaller and the price was more. When I went into the shop to discuss it, he castigated me in front of the entire shop. That is particularly bad business and outright disrespectful. Just because they put on shows and advertise heavily, doesn't make it a good tattoo shop..... IT IS THE EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE AND HOW YOU ARE TREATED AND IN MY CASE, IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE. There are so many better places in Sac then this place, I never thought I would be treated like that because I had heard good things about the place. The shop might have been good at one point but it for sure isn't like that any more, in my humble opinion.

I really wanted to love my experience here, but I'm honestly disappointed. Both times I asked for a light, thin design, and it ended up much thicker and bolder than what I requested. Now I'm stuck trying to find someone for removal, which is frustrating and expensive. I understand that artists have their own style, but when you're doing permanent work on someone's body, it's so important to truly listen to what the client is asking for and make sure expectations are aligned. I just hope future clients receive more careful consultation and consideration before anything permanent is done.

Branden's line work is perfection. I've gotten 4 tattoos by him in the last few years and everyone compliments how sharp and clean they are. Especially the memorial tattoo I had him do for my mom, he did a perfect job bringing her writing back to life for me. I will always come back to him.
