I Love this shop! Nico the owner also owns Utopia Tattoo in Auburn, he is an extremely talented artist and pours his heart and soul into all of his tattoos; the work shows for itself. He’s also an active member of the community and runs successful fundraising events multiple times a year that benefit animals and people in our communities. White Buffalo is welcoming and the artists are friendly and easy to talk to.

I had a great experience with a previous tattooist a year ago so this time around I went in for a consultation with a different artist Nico at the sac location and it went well so we set a time for me to come back. In the mean time I gave him my email for us to stay in communication . I had a few questions in that couple of week period so I sent him a couple of emails, dmed his personal and shop Instagram, emailed the shop email, called the shop. I got no response from him until the day of my next appointment saying that he never really checks his emails and that his apprentice is in charge of that but they’re still working on that…. My tattoo was going to be a couple of thousands of dollars so pretty frustrating that there was no effort in communication until the very last minute.

The staff are not only compassionate people, they are also wildly skilled artists. The prices were so reasonable and they even asked beforehand about our budget to have a better idea of what we were working with. They really take care of you here. Aleks and Nico are stellar. I’m excited to go back. HIGHLY recommend. My brother visited from FL for a week, and he wanted to get matching tattoos for his first tattoo. We were walk ins (risky, I know lol) but we called ahead to make sure they had availability, and they did. So we went in and shared the idea of matching studio Ghibli tattoos. Aleks asked about our budget, and we showed her the reference photos. She pulled up an even better picture, then after a short back and forth, she got to drawing. She was so collaborative and understood how important it was to my brother and me. She did an amazing job on both tattoos. And I was so impressed with her skill level. Thank you so much for a meaningful and memorable experience!

I started working with Nico a few years ago, and he brought life to my dream tattoo! I asked him, " I want satanic, Lovecrafts void with a mix of alchemy and BUGs,". He's also created a very welcoming environment in both of his shops. White Buffalo and Utopia have a very calming vibe. It's important to feel relaxed when getting tattooed for hours.

I got a tattoo from Voodoo Jo and I absolutely love it and I get so many compliments on it, can’t wait to come and see her for more work! I loved how sweet and professional she was, made me feel comfortable especially since it was my first tattoo! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
