Josh worked in my tattoo and did an incredible job. He was super helpful and incredibly friendly throughout the consult, design, and actual sessions. Everyone at the shop seems like they love what they are doing and love where they work. From what I’ve seen while there, you couldn’t go wrong with any specific artist. What’s even better is that all of them will happily recommend someone at the shop who may vibe better with what you’re looking for. 10/10, would tattoo again.

I spent the entire day with Lynnz at Old Republic Tattoo getting 6 pieces done. She was friendly and so was the rest of the staff that I had the pleasure of meeting. Lynnz was very servicing to my needs and comfort along with making sure that the pieces I wanted were in a color scheme I loved having me 100% included on the process. The shop was clean and cozy, very inviting and relaxing to spend an entire day. I highly recommend you visit Lynnz immediately at Old Republic Tattoo. You will NOT be disappointed!

I had an amazing experience with Josh Green at Old Republic in Sacramento. He was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the process. What stood out most was how carefully he listened to what I wanted and then elevated the concept into something even better than I imagined. His artistry and professionalism made the whole experience comfortable and seamless. I’m beyond happy with my pieces and can’t recommend him enough.

I really can’t say enough great things about Josh and the quality of the work he does here at Old Republic. I’ve been coming to Josh a few times a year for three years now, and I’m always blown away by his talent. It seems like every time I come in, I end up leaving with a new favorite piece. These photos are just a few examples of his skill and vision. From start to finish, Josh makes the process as comfortable as possible, which is no small feat in an eight hour tattoo session! His skill and knowledge of tattooing is only rivaled by his love of sci-fi and film, so if you’re up for a nice chat about an upcoming series you’re excited for, a new movie you just watched, or are in need of a recommendation for your next show to binge, Josh is also the guy to talk to — which certainly helps that eight hours pass a little quicker, too! I’ve only been tattooed by Josh here, but I am equally impressed by the work I’ve seen from the other artists at Old Republic. I’ve seen it in person, and on their Instagram pages, and can confirm it is all top notch. They’re all really nice, cool people, too! Great, convenient location, clean and organized shop, and a great group running it. You don’t have to be a nerd or a geek to get a tattoo here, and the artists here are bound to make a great design, no matter what the request is. But if you are a nerd, and you’re in the market for a new tattoo, this should be your first choice.
