Skin City Tattoo and Body Piercing

Great shop! I’ll never go anywhere else for piercing. What a great vibe and Jeric was wonderful! He explained everything very thoroughly, he made sure I was doing ok through every step and was able to correct a 20 year old crooked industrial and make it perfect! Double thumbs up and can’t wait to go back!

Cassidy was fantastic today! I had my nose pierced, and she was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so easy. She answered all of my questions and even helped me figure out how to find an accredited piercing studio in Austin when it’s time to change out my stud size. I highly recommend Cassidy and Skin City Tattoos—such a great experience from start to finish!

I decided to get my first tattoo, a small simple one, just to dip my toes in the water. I've always been worried of a botched job that I have to wear forever. Of course I did some research and found Skin City Tattoo and I am glad I did. Ken did an AMAZING job! His space was clean, his attitude was chill, and his lines were clean. I love it and am extremely happy with the result. I will be back for another!

Megan at Skin City in Tigard is awesome! After doing a lot of research (weird right?) and reading hundreds of reviews from 5 local piercing shops, we chose Skin City and specifically Megan. Local jewelry shops in the Beaverton/Tigard area are not piercing professionals. Skin City has written policies that follow state and industry standards for various age groups, including minors. Megan’s reviews do not lie. She was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived. Her communication style is informative and conversational. She is able to explain the procedure step-by-step at a level appropriate for all ages. Her technique and skill are highlighted by her accuracy and making sure the customer (and her parents) was comfortable every step of the way. If you are a parent considering having your minor child get a piercing, I think I can sum this up in one sentence. After going through the introductory/obligatory paperwork, and my daughter was seated, ready (but nervous) to begin, Megan started by saying to her: “Ok, the most important rule for you to understand is YOU are in charge. At any time, if you say stop/no, we will stop. You are in charge.” Why pay bargain prices for anything less than safe, consensual, and high-quality service from a professional. Megan was amazing!! I knew I wanted a cartilage piercing, and thought I had struggled a bit to articulate what was hoping for; Megan knew exactly what I meant. The whole shop is professional, friendly, super hygienic, ready to embrace whatever unique experience you’re looking for. The staff clearly knows their stuff; you get to relax and have fun, knowing you’re in safe, experienced hands.
