Broadway Ink Tattoo

Absolutely wonderful experience! Mari did my tattoo and did such an exceptional job! A welcome and kind environment that made me feel at ease during the tattoo. Absolutely would recommend and will be coming back again in the future!

(I want to preface that I’ve been to this shop 3 other times and received phenomenal work from Kenna which is the only reason this isn’t a 1 star) and I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but after sitting with this for a week, it’s still irking my soul Booked what I thought was 2 flash pieces with Maria for Friday the 13th - I asked her if I needed to book two time slots for the two pieces, she said no, she would extend the time to accommodate on her end. When booking the appointment through Square, I also notated there that I needed the time adjusted for the 2 pieces (this was 8 days before the appointment) so I assumed we were golden. I show up to the appointment on time and confirm the two stencils I wanted, she tells me that she did not adjust the time since she didn’t read the appointment notes ? and then says the following time slot was probably booked when I booked, so she couldn’t have extended it anyways (not at all true) I accepted we could only get one done and considered adjusting my placement due to this. After looking at the size of the stencil, she very confidently let me know we could get both pieces done in the 2 hour time frame and it was alright if we ran a little over schedule, so I went back to my original placement to have them compliment each other. She places both stencils and begins the first. About half way through, she stops and lets me know she won’t be able to do second piece… stating she wants the first piece to be done really well and doesn’t want to then rush through the second. She offered that I could come back the next day to get the second done, I said I’d need to look at my schedule (I live 50 minutes away on public transit) There’s about another 40 minutes of tattooing after this. The one 3 inch piece took an hour and 45 minutes… and looks nothing like the drawing or even stencil, nor did she reference either once while doing the tattoo. If I was told from the beginning I’d only be walking out with the one piece, I definitely would have placed it elsewhere. I also had no faith in coming back for the second if this is what the first one looked like after nearly 2 hours. I’m heavily tattooed, and have never cried over the outcome of a tattoo before this one. Please give realistic expectations with both booking and execution. I’ve already been told by another artist it can be fixed, but it shouldn’t have to be.

Awesome shop with spectacular people doing Stellar work. This is my second Tattoo I've gotten here within a week. Highly would recommend this studio. The artists are amazing with great personalities.

My sister and I started coming 3 years ago to have permanent makeup done by Mari @ marirosetattoo located in Broadway Ink. She is fabulous and love her work so much we brought our mom to get permanent makeup and now my sister and I are getting matching sister tattoos. The rest of the tattoo artists are nice and friendly and their tattoo work they display is incredible. Come in for your tattoo and I dont think you will be disappointed. Today we are finishing our tattoos and will post pictures later.

This has been the best tattooing experience by far… so much so that I have covered my whole leg. Kenna is my favorite artist and makes the whole process from concept to design and implementation of your tattoo just seamless. I trust her to make my ideas come true. If you are considering a new shop or artist please give this place a try. You will not be disappointed, especially with artwork that lasts a lifetime
