Crown Ink Tattoo and Piercing

Update: Absolutely love the final results! I already have an appointment to start working on a cover up tattoo. I recently started a full arm sleeve at Crown Ink with Tinta. I couldn’t be more impressed. Tinta and his family were welcoming and the shop was pristine. During my consultation, Tinta gave me valuable suggestions while also ensuring that my ideas were fully incorporated into the design. I appreciated his attention to detail and creativity. While heading to the Crown Ink for my appointment, my car broke down. Tinta offered to drive all the way to Tacoma to help. I was so grateful that he offered to help me and fully understood that I needed to cancel my appointment. The tattooing process itself was smooth and comfortable. He was patient and checked in with me frequently to make sure I was comfortable throughout the session. I was only able to stay for 8 hours but the first session’s results exceeded my expectations! The lines are crisp and the design flows beautifully. I’m eager to do my the final session and see my full floral arm complete! I highly recommend Tinka at Crown Ink to anyone looking for a talented and professional tattoo artist. I’ll make sure to post the final result soon!

Horrible Tattoo Experience – Unprofessional and Unsafe I had a terrible experience with this so-called tattoo artist. First of all, the shop was very sketchy. It looked dirty and unorganized. There were no signs of proper hygiene. Looked like the tattoo guy lived within the shop only. I never saw him clean the equipment, and he didn’t open any sealed needles in front of me. That made me really worried about safety. He didn’t ask me to sign any forms before starting—not for consent, not for safety, nothing. That is not normal or professional. Every real tattoo shop makes you fill out paperwork before anything happens. The guy said he was “experienced,” but later I found out he’s not even licensed. That’s scary. He only took cash, didn’t give me a receipt, and made sure there was no record of the payment. It all felt very dodgy and shady. I showed him a simple design, but he completely ruined it. The lines are shaky, parts are missing, and it honestly looks like it was done by a beginner. When I asked him to fix it, he said he would—but now he’s not answering my calls, messages, or opening the shop. He has completely disappeared after doing this terrible work. I feel embarrassed and upset every time I look at it. Now I have to spend even more money to get it fixed by someone who actually knows what they’re doing. DO NOT GO HERE. This place is unsafe, unprofessional, and the tattoo artist is not qualified. I wish I had done more research before trusting this person with my skin. When I am trying to put the review for this tattoo shop, their own webpage is taking me to a different tattoo shops review page. COMPLETELY FRAUD !! DO NOT GO THERE !! It was Elijah who did my tattoo. This guy made my tattoo about 45 days back. Messaged thru Facebook with a quick reply they had me in a chair by 3 pm after we both went over my original idea he helped me work to improve and make the piece more unique shop was clean and they where friendly they also speak Spanish for all you Spanish speaking folk like me. Tinta was the one that did my tattoo couldn't be happier with the work he did attention to detail and overall customer service were great 10/10 would recommend him to everyone that sees my tattoo. While talking about tattoos he saw my wife's and immediately offered a appt for some touch ups on her and gave reasonable prices. Definitely going to back for more work.

an artist is only as good as the ideas you give them, i went in with quite the technical challenge for a tattoo and they did AMAZING. i was tattooed by the son of the shop and he is quite the talent. if you are looking for anything that's not just your typical American traditional, (only kind of tattoo shop i can really find out here in Seattle) They truly set them selves apart. they show true dynamic talent in their artistry, shading, style and line work. will most def be coming back for my next tattoo, and will be recommending them to all my friends. Thanks guys :D

Me and two other friends were walking outside and saw the flash tattoo sign and immediately went in. Right away they stopped what they were doing and immediately helped us pick our tattoos and talked to us through the whole process. They made sure we were well taken care of and treated us with great hospitality. We appreciate the work you and your family are doing thank you guys.
