I recently got my second tattoo ever at Slave to the Needle, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. My best friend and I decided to get matching tattoos in honor of someone we both love, and Frank made the entire process easy and stress-free. He was courteous, professional, and worked with us to create a design that we absolutely fell in love with. The tattoo itself was quick, and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. Everyone at the shop was welcoming and made us feel comfortable throughout the appointment. If you’re looking for a talented artist and a great overall experience, I highly recommend Slave to the Needle. We’ll definitely be sending more people their way and wouldn’t hesitate to come back for future tattoos. Getting matching tattoos was such a meaningful experience for us, and we’re grateful to Frank and the team for helping make it memorable.

Fantastic sessions with Aaron Bell to complete the sleeve on my left arm. His artistry is amazing and he worked with me to incorporate some family specific elements into a traditional Japanese design. I love his palette selection, creating beautiful water action. He was also a pleasure to sit with for multiple hours while working on the sleeve. The rest of the staff and artists were also friendly, helpful and created an atmosphere that was welcoming and relaxed.

My best friend and I went here as walk-ins last year and I think it was probably the best overall tattoo experience I’ve had at any shop, from the genuine good vibes from my artist to the incredibly clean line work that looks brand new to this day. Don’t let his name fool you— Mean Ol Tim is anything BUT!! I will admit that I usually have an aversion to working with male artists but Tim was nothing short of fantastic. Genuinely just such a kind, safe, chill dude with amazing skills. I tell everyone to come here now. The best, thank you so much!

Best tattoo shop in Seattle. Lance has done all my black and grey work. He is a perfectionist at what he does and he’s always professional. Highly recommended.
