I got three piercings from Jade and she was AMAZING. I was told before that she is a gentle piercer and I was like that’s not possible she will punch holes into my ears there is nothing gentle about that but I was so wrong. I felt really taken care of and I love my new piercings :)

After a disappointing experience elsewhere, I stopped into Studs and am so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, friendly, and professional. Bella helped me pick out my earrings and had the sweetest, most calming presence. She was patient, knowledgeable, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. She made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and enjoyable. Carmen was my piercer, and she was fantastic. She explained everything clearly, made me feel comfortable throughout the process, and did an excellent job with my second lobe piercings. The piercing itself was quick, smooth, and much less intimidating than I expected. I was also pleasantly surprised by the pricing. Both ear piercings were $55 total, and even with the flat-back jewelry, my total came to around $150. The follow-up appointment to switch to shorter posts is only $20, which felt very reasonable and transparent. What stood out most was the customer service. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to help. I left feeling excited about my new piercings instead of stressed about the experience. Highly recommend Studs, especially Bella and Carmen. I’ll definitely be back for future piercings and jewelry purchases!

I had my helix piercing done at Studs on January 15. The piercer specifically told me that I could change my jewelry after 3 months. My friend was with me during the appointment and heard the same information. I followed all aftercare instructions and consistently cleaned and cared for my piercing. Despite this, it never healed properly. The area remained painful, and I developed a persistent bump next to the piercing that would not go away. After more than 5 months of dealing with ongoing pain and irritation, I decided to schedule a check-up because it was simply too painful to keep waiting and hoping it would improve on its own. I booked my appointment online for 6:40 PM and arrived early. Despite having an appointment, I ended up waiting for over an hour. After already waiting 40 minutes, I was told there were still other clients ahead of me. The wait continued, and I eventually left after more than an hour because there wasn’t even a place to sit while waiting. I am extremely disappointed with both the aftercare guidance I received and the customer service. I followed the instructions I was given, took proper care of my piercing, and still experienced ongoing pain and healing issues. On top of that, having to wait over an hour for a scheduled appointment with no seating available was unacceptable.

Getting my ears pierced at STUDS Seattle was an amazing experience! From start to finish, the process was super enjoyable. The facilities were clean and had a trendy, welcoming vibe. The staff was friendly, and the person who did our piercings was both knowledgeable and approachable. They walked us through every step, ensuring we felt comfortable and at ease. The process was quick and straightforward—sign some paperwork, head back, and get it done. We went on a Friday around 5:30 PM, and while parking in Capitol Hill was its usual challenge, the experience inside made it totally worth it. One heads-up: if, like me, your last piercing was at Claire’s in 1997, prices have definitely gone up since then. For two lobe piercings, two sets of earrings, and the cleaning solution, the total was about $220. While it’s on the pricier side, the quality of care and professionalism made it absolutely worth every penny. Highly recommend!
