Cosmic Noise Tattoo

Lara (@hexcellenta) is my favorite tattoo artist, and when she moved to Cosmic Noise that naturally meant that I had to go stop by. Really glad too- Cosmic Noise itself is a really cool spot staffed by really cool people, there's tons of free parking around, and of course, Lara is the best! I got a new tattoo (my third from her) over the weekend and as usual the tattoo itself (a sword this time) is gorgeous, the work was speedy and professional, and I really enjoyed the space. Get a tattoo here, and have Lara do it!

I received my first tattoo by @hexcellenta and I could not be happier with the tattoo or the service I received. I struggle being comfortable with new people in new places, but coming here was an overwhelmingly positive experience and I felt at home. Lara is well knowledged of her craft and is a genuinely kind and caring soul, and was able to put my anxious mind at ease. Whether it is your first tattoo or your hundredth, I could not recommend coming here more.

I flew in from out of town to get a HUGE thigh piece tattooed by Velvet. We had a marathon session with over 7 hours of active tattooing, since I don’t know when I’ll be back. Velvet was great and, honestly, our session did not feel that long. They have a light touch and made the process as easy as possible. The shop vibes are chill and comfortable, the other artists were cool and easy to talk to, and I had an amazing time. My tattoo is GORGEOUS and I’m obsessed. Velvet’s design went above and beyond what I imagined, and you can tell how much they care about their craft. I will absolutely be back the next time I’m in town. Stop looking for another shop and just book your appointment! (I’m sure Velvet will have more professional photos on their Instagram account that will show the whole piece in all its glory, but I’m attaching a teaser)

My husband and I are repeat customers of Hexcellenta at Cosmic Noise Tattoo. Everyone at the shop has been so nice and the shop itself is clean with a comfortable atmosphere. Hexcellenta is so great to work with and has always done a great job on our tattoos. She is patient and very willing to work with us to create the perfect custom tattoo designs. She provides great recommendations to ensure our tattoos turn out well and last. Her goal is to give customers an amazing tattoo they are happy with. I loved working with Velvet. I can be a little awkward at times and I am not great with small talk, plus it is hard for me to be on my phone when I am getting tattooed, and they made the whole experience feel so easy and comfortable. Velvet worked on a cover up tattoo for me and it was better than I could have imagined. It looks just like my dog, who means the world to me. I also told them I wanted some Mexican influence since I am Mexican American myself, and they absolutely nailed it. I am on day five of healing right now and it is healing great. Cosmic Tattoo is such a welcoming and safe space, and they truly try to work with you. I had to reschedule multiple times because of work and being sick, and Velvet was so understanding and able to accommodate my schedule. I will definitely be coming back to them for more work. They are so friendly and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!
